Fashion Design and Technology Certificate Programme

- Product Design Process and Technology
- Preparing Patterns and Applying Models
- Dressing
- Sewing
- Photoshop/Illustrator
- Fashion Photography and Presentation Techniques
- Final Project and Exhibition
Students who successfully complete this program will attain the following:
- Systematic knowledge on design development and production principles and methodology
- An inter-disciplinary approach to designing development and production processes and to troubleshooting and decision making
- A professional approach to basic creative processes
- The ability to prepare themes by combining various kinds of fabrics, colours and silhouettes during design interpretation processes.
- The ability to organise fashion knowledge based on various aspects of fashion industry such as product, busiıness, industry, and culture.
At the end of the program, İMA offers these advantages:
- Students who have successfully completed the program will receive a certificate acknowledged by the Ministry of National Education.
- Students will be supported in gaining access to internship or job opportunities in the industry.
- Shared projects in the industry, implemented during the program, enable students to learn about the industry and gain the best practices.
- Seminars and meetings, attended by fashion representatives, both local and foreign, will give students an opportunity to meet professionals in the industry and to benefit from their experiences.
